16d Dubai - ending the day at the mall

We were exhausted after 9 hours on our feet and we only made it to the 6pm
fountain show before heading back to the ship. Luckily, we ran into Marie
who ensured we caught the correct taxi back. Being so tired we would not
have paid attention. Firstly we were directed to one of the private unmarked
taxis."Yes madam it is metered", it is not about the meter but the rate (
friends were stung the previous night when their fare of 120 dirhams ). We
would only accept a cream and red taxi where it only cost us 46 dirhams to
return to the ship.
With just enough energy to shower and eat in the Horizon Court, we took one
last promenade around the ship to the dulcet tones of a call to pray from a
local mosque before heading down to a well-deserved sleep.

Today's step count was 21,992.. wow I don't even have to get out of bed
tomorrow!!
