22e Kotor - visiting Budva on the way back

Continuing our forward motion, we didn't take the snake road back down,
instead we used the new road that gently descended us down to sea level.
With a short final stop in Budva, visiting it's old town, walled against
attackers and one of the oldest on the Adriatic Coast.
By the time we arrived back in Kotor we were the only ship left. "Is this
the tender for the Crown Princess" I asked as I walked up .. the look on the
crew's faces was priceless.. "only joking" I smiled, and the relief was
undeniable.
Just as predicted the sail out was just as glorious, with a little added
extra. As we passed the islands of Perast, the captain blew our horn. In
the reply the all the churches bells started to ring, blessing us on our
forward passage... magic.

Step Count 460,022 that is an average of 12,000 a day!!

  1. Joanne and Garry, loving your blog. So many memories are coming back. We loved Kotor and Budva, especially as we were the only ship in port when we were here in 2013. Such a great sail in along the fjord. Thanks for spending the time and doing such a great blog.
