44b Key West - Hemingway's House

Next it was on to the trolley, passing many of the small and large mansions
all beautifully restored and painted those familiar pastel colours of the
south.
We next visited Hemingway's house, and once again we listened to the
humorous but informative narrations from the guide that walked us through
the house. Maybe not all the original furniture was displayed in this
house, but you can find descendants of his famous six toed cat family. The
cats have free reign around the home and you can find them sleeping on beds,
window sills, in pot plants anywhere that cats like to sleep. The six-toed
trait can be found in some but not all of these cute felines. They actually
look like little hands with an extra toe that looks like a thumb.
