32 Cobh - We had a Corker of a time.

There is this tradition that each year our World Cruise calls into Cobh, and
to celebrate our arrival the town holds its annual Australia Day
festivities. There are market stalls, music and dancing in the park on the
waterfront and the shops join in the fun by decorating their windows. But
alas the gods were not kind and the heavy rain had everyone running for
cover early in the afternoon and the outdoor activities were abandoned.
As if mocking the grey skies, the beautiful small homes of Cobh added a
splash of colour to this otherwise dreary morning as we sailed in.. Like
dominoes they stood side by side looking like if one goes, they all go..
Today we were catching the train to Cork City. The ship docks right next to
the train station and for 20 Euros 2 of you can travel there and back. It
is around a 30-minute ride and most of it is along the coast, making it a
scenic ride. as long as the rain holds off.
