Our drop off point back in town was in front of a shop that advertised
themselves as Purveyors of Flotsam and Jetsom. It was an adventure in
itself discovering the variety of arts, crafts and antiques available. Then
there was the dog, sprawled out on the only available piece of floor space.
Huge, was this large, black Newfoundland dog, who was not moving for anyone,
"gee she must old" we said. " She is 9 months old, nowhere near her full
size" eek!
Luckily the rain held out until we were ready to stop for lunch and
everything in town was busy, so on the way back to the ship we stopped at
O'Brien's Pub and Grub. Live entertainment and local beer, we are easily
pleased. Ordering everything on the menu, Zinger Wings and Chips we enjoyed
the next couple of hours and twice as many beers until we staggered back to
the ship at boarding time. Life is good!
