It's like the rest of the world must be fast asleep, as we sail up all these
fjords to reach our ports of call. The only thing disrupting this
peacefulness is the ripples from the ship as it breaks through the glassy
water. Our berth is marked by the constant billowing white steam emanating
from the Corner Brook Pulp & Paper Mill. It was this Mill that brought many
jobs and a booming economy and turned Corner Brook from a sleepy hollow to a
large industrial city, well in Newfoundland terms anyway.
